A Viagra Story
When you think of Viagra, the first thing that might come to mind is its use for ED. However, for my dog Bodie, it served a different purpose. Bodie was diagnosed with heart disease and pulmonary hypertension. He was given just three months to live. Today, he's surpassed that by over a year, thanks to Viagra.
While Bodie doesn’t have ED (he was neutered young), the Viagra aids his breathing. It helps him by reducing the high blood pressure in his lungs. The drug’s ability to open blood vessels has given him an extended lease on life.
The Limitations of Viagra for ED
While Viagra's benefits for Bodie are undeniable, it's crucial to understand why I don’t prescribe this medication to my patients with ED. Instead of this popular pill, I focus on the "Get Hard System". The system addresses the entire holistic framework of an erection: brain, hormones, emotions, nerves, blood vessels, and muscles.
Viagra primarily aids the penile muscles, promoting more blood flow. It achieves this by inhibiting the degradation of an enzyme called cyclic GMP. The degradation allows nitric oxide to linger in the muscles longer. However, it doesn't boost nitric oxide production.
Consequently, Viagra is a temporary solution that targets only one-sixth of the systems involved in erection. It doesn't address the other systems like emotions, nerves, and hormones.
Viagra Risks and Considerations
While many opt for Viagra seeking immediate results, the drug comes with its share of side effects. These range from headaches, vision changes, and nasal congestion to more severe consequences like potential long-term hearing loss, risk of priapism (an erection lasting more than four hours), and even vision loss.
Using Viagra without understanding the root cause of ED is like applying a band-aid on a deeper wound. ED could stem from factors such as high blood pressure, stress, lack of sleep, smoking, excessive alcohol consumption, obesity, or lack of exercise. Addressing these underlying issues can, in many cases, reverse ED more effectively than solely relying on medication.
A Natural Approach
Men can achieve healthier, more fulfilling sexual lives without immediate resort to drugs. Sometimes, all it takes is lifestyle modifications such as switching to a Mediterranean diet or cutting down on simple carbs. You must strive for a sexual revolution that prioritizes genuine health over temporary fixes.
Final Thoughts
Remember, you are naturally capable of achieving and maintaining erections well into old age. You need to equip yourselves with the knowledge and tools to keep it functioning optimally.
So, before you reach for that Viagra pill, take a moment to dig deeper and address the real issues at hand.
